The ink used for microblade eyebrows is different than regular tattoo ink. Microblade ink has minerals in the mixture that give the microblade brows a certain richness in color. These minerals often oxidize to an orange/yellow color that is almost neon in quality. If this occurs it becomes harder to remove the microblade brow. Thus, a laser that targets red inks must be used in order to reduce the tone of these oxidized inks. So, laser removal microblade eyebrows is not always a simple task.
When lasering off microblade eyebrows you are very close to the delicate eyeball. Thus, certain safety measures must be instituted. It is not enough to wear the protective goggels as in other laser procedures. Nor, is simply closing your eye, laser injury and blindness can still occur.
The patient must wear a laser-specific eye patch, steel eye covers or a laser retardant contact on the eye. This is for all laser eyebrow tattoo removal.
